Join Us for a week of VBS at Camp Firelight
Grab your camping gear and head to Decatur First UMC for a fun filled week where campers will learn what it means to put their trust in God. Each morning, kids will enjoy songs, stories, crafts, science, and games—all centered around faith and friendship.

📍 Location: Decatur First United Methodist Church, 805 Canal St NE
Daily Schedule:
🚗 Drop-Off/Check-In : 8:45 – 9:00 AM in the Welcome Center on Lafayette or the Portico on Canal St.
🎤 Morning Assembly: Begins at 9:00 AM (Parents & guardians are welcome to stay!)
🚗 Pick-Up/Check Out: 11:45AM- 12:00PM
🍦 Friday Special Treat: Enjoy a cold sweet treat at 11:15 AM before pick-up!
🎉 VBS Celebration Sunday:
Join us Sunday, June 14 at 10:30 AM for a special service where our VBS kids will share the songs they’ve learned, and we will have an ice cream social after church!
